Billing
Free allowance, prepaid credits, pay as you go, invoices, and refunds.
Prices are in EUR, exclusive of VAT, as shown on the pricing page. Output tokens are free.
Free allowance
Each account gets 10 decisions per day at no charge. After that, a call needs a credit balance or an active pay as you go subscription.
When the free allowance is used up and the account has never bought credits or pay as you go, the API returns HTTP 429 with code quota_exceeded.
Credits
Top-up packs:

Credits do not expire. Auto-recharge can buy a pack when the balance falls under a threshold you set (the default threshold is EUR 2, and the default pack is Starter). After three failed charges in a row, auto-recharge turns off.
Metered price after the free allowance: EUR 0.018 per 1 million input tokens. usage.cost_eur on the decision response is the EUR charged for that call (0 when the free allowance or a plan allowance covers it).
Pay as you go
Pay as you go bills input tokens for the month and Stripe issues a monthly invoice. A saved payment method is required. Failed invoices can suspend the account.
When a call is refused

rate_limited includes a Retry-After header (seconds). payment_required and quota_exceeded wait on billing, not on a short retry. See Rate limits and pricing.
Refunds
Consumed usage is not refundable. Unused credits are refundable on request. Write to contact@strike-ai.eu.
VAT
Amounts on the pricing page and on invoices are in EUR. VAT is added where it applies. The API price is exclusive of VAT.
